NHIMA and INDO Partnership
Today Thursday, 11th, 2021 National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) and Indo Zambia Bank have signed a partnership agreement for the facilitation of National Health Insurance Scheme premium payments using Indo Zambia Bank Net Banking platform.
Through the partnership, NHIMA has incorporated the online payment service on to its eNHIMA platform. This solution seeks to provide a quick and convenient payment option for NHIMA members to pay for their insurance premium contributions and ease the premium collection process for NHIMA.
Digital platforms address key challenges affecting the Zambian people in the COVID-19 era by providing convenient online platforms that can be accessed from the comfort of their homes, consequently reducing risk of exposure. This resonates with the Authorities’ digital drive and agenda which is currently being undertaken through encouraging members to make use the digital platform eNHIMA and alternate channels that are safer and convenient.

Speaking at the signing ceremony Indo Zambia Bank Managing director Mr Kowdichar Shashidar said, the Bank is always in full support of Government initiatives that aim at improving the livelihoods of the people and as such we wish to reaffirm our commitment to work with National Health Insurance Management Authority to support the critical health sector and in turn spur Zambia’s developmental agenda.
